This cottage was mind-blowing! The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were super tidy. The bathroom was immaculate and great for baths and showers. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and the games cabinet was a jaw-dropping addition. We loved the small fire and had everything we needed to make one for a super cosy evening. The extensive "manual" provided insider's knowledge for exploring the area. The cottage had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to a comfortable lounge. The little welcome pack with tea bags and biscuits was a nice touch. We also appreciated the free wi-fi, free parking, electric kettle, cookware, flat-screen TV. The playpen and cots were perfect for our baby, and the board games provided extra entertainment. Plus, we were thrilled that pets were allowed, and the no-smoking policy on-site was great.

The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were cozy and the rooms were spotless. The host provided clear instructions on how to access the property and use the amenities, like the log burner. The kitchen was well-equipped and even had some extras like washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack with tea and biscuits.
The surrounding area had limited dining options, with most places closed or up for sale. It was necessary to drive to nearby towns or villages to find restaurants.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage in Brough! The beds were comfy, the rooms tidy, and the bathroom spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the games cabinet. The house manual was incredibly informative and helpful for exploring the area. We highly recommend this cottage for a cozy country escape.
One drawback was the limited dining options in Brough, with only a couple of cafes available. However, it was easy to drive to surrounding towns and villages for more choices.

I had the pleasure of using their provided towels, which were absolutely fabulous. They were so soft and fluffy, I felt like I was wrapped in a cloud.
Missing out on all the closed restaurants and pubs nearby was such a shame. I mean, who needs food and entertainment when you're on a country escape, right?

This cozy cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped with a fridge and dishwasher. The washing machine was a bonus for our kids' messy clothes. We loved the convenience of having a hairdryer in the bathroom too.
Personally, we didn't find the microwave necessary, but others might still find it useful.
